Ive always known they were there, speaking of brook trout in the high country. I have even fished them as a younger man on spinning gear. But this past week i really feel in love with these little fish. They are so beautiful, and yet chasing a big one can be very illusive. Searching and exploring the lakes can take a lifetime to find the best ones. I cant think of any better way to spend time with my kids than chasing brookies in the Uintahs and the Boulder mountains. Finding my love for photography has made my love of fishing even more rewarding. This is where i tell you all of my secret brookie lakes, only i dont have any yet.

ReplyDeleteThanks Luke, I love those brookies, what part of the country are you fishing.
ReplyDeleteI'm from the homeland of the brookies Northern NY. I currently live/fish in Western NY, and dream of returning to my ADK brook trout. Your photos are making me want to take a road trip!
